WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF THE

CENTRAL CALIFORNIA SCHOOL OF

ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE!

The 2018-2019 Adult School Year is Growing Near!

The Board of Trustees of the Central California School of Italian Language and  Culture began a diligent effort to select a new leader for the future, subsequent to the retirement of our very longtime and dedicated Principal/Instructor, Luigi Gherardi, earlier this year.

As a result, we are really excited about the changes that will be initiated this Fall.  We successfully hired a well-qualified, new principal, Mr. Justin Ehrenberg , who is incredibly enthusiastic, intelligent, extremely positive, a talented foreign language instructor, and is media-technically-skilled as well. It is our collective belief and expectation that with his leadership and personality the school will be successfully brought into the 21st century!

Additionally, we are moving to a different school site that is equipped with both media equipment and a physical classroom arrangement that will enhance what takes place as well. It will be a whole new ball game! More details on the latter can be found on the Class Registration Form link found under "News" or "Class Schedules."

Founded in 1974, the goal of the Central California School of Italian Language and Culture is to embrace, preserve, and perpetuate the Italian language and culture in the Central California region.

This is accomplished through the following means:

1) Adult language and cultural education
2) Children's education
3) Cultural, social, and fundraising events

Do I have to be Italian to take classes?  Absolutely NOT!
