La Befana, a legendary figure of Italian folklore, is known for her annual journey on the night of Epiphany, when she brings gifts to children. According to tradition, she is an old woman who flies on a broom and fills children's stockings with sweets and candies for the good ones, and coal for the bad ones. Her story intertwines with the meaning of renewal and hope, making Epiphany a special time of celebration and reflection in Italy.

Cathy Manassero organized this event with the help of our wonderful volunteers: Nancy, Gina, Luigi, and Marie as La Befana!
